Victor Dooga, proudly known as the Benue Boy, has been making waves in the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) world.
Hailing from Aliade in the Gwer Local Government Area of Benue State, this 28-year-old sensation has dominated international competitions, including the Iba Youth World Boxing Championship and the Youth Olympics.
With an impressive record since 2006, Victor boasts three gold medals from the World Boxing Championship (2014, 2016, and 2017) and recently claimed the Global Warrior Sports Champions MMA Championship title by defeating Mubarak Mohammed Entsuah in Accra, Ghana.
The Tiv Community in Lagos (Mdzough U Tiv Lagos) proudly celebrates Victor’s achievements, showcasing the community’s resilience and determination.
In a few day’s time, Victor is set to face Nijia Romeo from Cameroon on August 23, 2025. We wish him the best!
