Chief Edwin Ogbu, Otra I of Ufia Kingdom. A retired Head of Security at Total E&P Nigeria.
He is of royal blood, from the family of Och’ Idoma III, the late Ambassador Edwin Ogbu.
Chief Edwin worked diligently for more than 30 years at Total, holding various positions. As a senior administrator in charge of administration and security operations at Total Energies and Exploration’s Abuja office, he served as the head of security.
Chief was employed as a geologist at Total in Port Harcourt, River State, Nigeria, where he served for more than 14 years before he moved to the Abuja office.
Chief Edwin graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the prestigious University of Jos, Nigeria, and an MBA from the University of Calabar.
Methodist High School in Igumale, which is situated in the present-day Ado Local Government Area of Benue State, is where he finished his secondary education in 1980.
He had been recognised for his professional efforts with multiple awards from the community, state, and local government.
