Presenting the Nigerian mathematician who took on the task of saving the universe, Professor Gabriel Audu Oyibo.
Professor Gabriel Audu Oyibo, a Nigerian-American mathematician and aerospace engineer, was born in Idah, Kogi State, in 1952. He gained notoriety in academia for his contentious attempt to develop a single theory of everything, known as the God Almighty’s Grand Unified Theorem (GAGUT).
After studying and teaching in the US, he joined the OFAPPIT Institute of Technology in New York as a mathematics professor.
Oyibo claims that GAGUT provides a mathematical answer to Einstein’s long-standing search for a Grand Unified Theory in physics—a single framework that explains all of the universe’s forces.
Although there has been some interest in and support for his theory, it is still mainly outside the realm of accepted science.
He is regarded as one of the most audacious scientific thinkers to come out of Africa because of his audacity and uniqueness, which have generated discussions around the world.
Professor Oyibo remains a proud son of the Igala Kingdom and a testament to the brilliance that can rise from Nigerian soil.
