Dr. Anthonia Uloko was truly born to be great. One may think that she finds it easy because of her background, no, Tonia has always been a child that her eyes are for greatness and excellence.
Her academic excellence also stems from her birth, she came from a family where education is pivotal. Where learning is first thing. Dr. Tonia bagged her PhD at a very tender age in a country with the most difficult learning environment.
Dr. Anthonia Uloko (Ph.D) was born on 17th day of June, 1986 into the family of a former Chief Justice of Plateau State and a one time former commissioner Public Complaints Commission, Justice George Idenyi Uloko (OON) of blessed memory.
Dr. Anthonia Uloko is from Utonkon, Idoma valley in Ado Local Government Area of Benue State, Nigeria. She’s many things to different people; to someone she is a Pastor, to some she is a Teacher and to others Dr. Tonia or Toniloks as they fondly called her, she is a helper.
Dr. Anthonia Uloko (Ph.D) began her early education at Wesley Primary School, Utonkon and obtained her FSCL in the year 1998 and later laid her life time educational foundation at Government Teachers College, now Government Secondary School Utonkon, Ado Local government of Benue State between 1998-2003.
In her unquenchable passion for learning, Dr. Anthonia Uloko (Ph.D.) further attended, Benue State University Makurdi and University of Mkar, Mkar Gboko, Benue State, where she bagged her Diploma in Business Management and B. SC. in Business Management respectively in 2010 .
Dr. Anthonia Uloko in her zeal for learning, obtained her M. Sc. in 2015 at Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi (FUAM), now Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University Makurdi and Postgraduate Studies in Education (PGDE) at National Teachers Institute(NTI). Dr. Anthonia Uloko also attended Kogi State University where she bagged her Doctor of Philosophy in 2020. All these were possible for young Tonia because of her undying love, determination and quest for academics.
Dr. Uloko has several reputable and global publications. She has chaired different foral and She has also attended several workshops locally and internationally to her esteemed reputation.
Currently Dr. Anthonia Uloko (Ph.D) is the coordinator and Examination Officer in Marketing, Department of Business Management, Benue State University, Makurdi. And in her passion to also reckon with her people, she served as the Matron of the National Association of Ufia Students.
In her quest to see a lot of young people succeed academically and become good ambassadors, Dr. Tonia has committed a lot of her resources to see that. She’s a role model to thousands of young people, especially the girl child. She’s also a girl child advocate.
The Story of Dr. Tonia is that of determination, unwavering passion and divine ordinance of God. You too can be unstoppable, only if you try.
